From the article:- City have no knowledge of an investigation and are adamant they have done nothing wrong, while Chelsea insist they "comply with all Fifa statutes and regulations when recruiting players".
As the professional desire and financial incentives for winning increase, even if Fifa's latest probe unearths nothing, it is fair to assume it won't be the last time they will feel the need to make sure regulations are not being broken. From the BBC.
It'd be ironic if they gave both clubs a 3 year transfer ban and they were then forced to actually play some of this young talent that they've hovered up with the intention of using the cash generated to offset their huge spending on established stars....
This young player " Farming " has been happening for years . Ken Bates , when at Leeds , made a charge against Man City many moons ago , not sure but I think he won the case .
Pep more so than Conte would have an absolute mental breakdown. The thought of genuinely coaching players and not buying the finished articles would send him over the edge.
City have spent £380m in transfers alone in the past 15 months and wanted Sanchez for a further £65m. No fine is going to be a punishment. They already have the players so a ban is no punishment. So basically they got away scot free
they should be forced to send all their incoming players back to the clubs they signed them from (for free) and pay their wages for the contract duration
There's a lot of jealousy on this thread. Pep has started to improve City players. Sterling and De Bruyne are definitely better players now than when he first came to the club. Could make an argument for a few more players too
No amount of fines will deter them, and they don't have the balls to deduct points/cup qualification. A very simple and immediate fix is just to limit the number of player registrations a club can hold at a time.
