Hi was just wondering what people thought about this and what players you think will be playing. Personally I think it is a good idea to prolong the celebrations and the fact that its free should mean a good crowd will be in attendance. As I cannot watch the match saturday because it had already sold out when I went to book a ticket, this will be my chance to celebrate properly with the club (I will be at the match saturday, its just that I will just be working in the concourses serving the food instead of having a ticket). Another thought do you think that Le God will have sorted things out with cortese and be playing because I think it would be great if he did, although I dont think anyone on these boards know how bad their spat was/is. other players I would like to see include Le God, Alan Shearer, Claus Lundekvam, Marian pahars maybe Anti Niemi (altough I doubt this because the os says that paul jones will be playing).
I think it is a brilliant idea, we don't live in Southampton so will miss out on the city celebrations that will almost definitel be going on throughout the week. Does anybody know what's planned? Will also give me time to sober up from the cheeky few I am going have Saturday evening!!!! The only thing that concerns me is, living in Wales I won't be getting to Southampton till saturday morning, are they still gonna be tickets available. Maybe they will have Pedro playing!!! lol

Thirteen players including two goalkeepers, they're running scared. Got my tickets this morning, it's going to be a great weekend.
Try ringing the club explain your problem and see if they can help I am sure the will as there clearly isn't any other way you could get one!
Thanks for that, I have spoken to the ticket office and they have said that they can be reserved from mid-day today, bring on the party!
Have managed to book/reserve the tickets via the official site, the ticket line is charging 30p fee per ticket.
Doesn't seem like it CBK. My life will be complete if Ken Monkou plays. Anybody know any information on ticketing? If I were to call up (which I have tried many times, I get bored of waiting after 10 minutes) would I be able to get three tickets? I read that ST holders could call up before midday and get their two tickets, but when it says they go to database sale, does that basically mean 'free-for-all' for whoever is on the database? Or will they restrict to two tickets p/p? Ta!
I have already reserved two tickets and it has let me reserve more if i want them so you should be able to get three via the official site.
Just as an update: I managed to get through super quick this time on the phone, you can get unlimited tickets. although, they charged me 60p per ticket! ã1.80 to see the first team and Saints legends is far too much in my eyes!!!
Just booked my 3 tickets over the phone as the online service has crashed. Got through in about 5 mins. Same as above ã1.80 - brilliant!
I went down to the ticket office today and got 12 tickets and didn't have to pay a penny! nice gesture from cortese and i think he deserves a bit of praise for not charging us.
Definitely, particularly as there will presumably be staffing/stadium costs associated. Small point of order which is that one ex-Saint wont be there, Dean Richards. On a day of celebration maybe it would be appropriate to remember him.
Good shout about Dean Richards,you never know cortese might of been planning it! Lot of talk about le tiss not being there but i've got a hunch that he might be a surprise guest!
