:police:Well it is on the Sunderland coast and these boards but I know why, bloody O'Neill again.

I had a good walk with Osca today, a nip in the air and frost under foot but the sort of walk that makes you look forward to a hot cup of tea and grateful for peace, quiet and that quiet satisfaction with life.

I want to talk football but cant find a lot to talk about, transfers, well who we get, if anyone, is down to MON and I have complete faith that he will do the right thing.

Saturdays game, well team selection, he will get it right, result, we should lose but I think we will draw, again, I have faith MON will get it right and even if we lose it will be a hard fought loss.

I do know I'm looking forward to the weekend, our game Saturday then Newcastle live on Sunday with the Hughes affect, will there be one.

See, I had nothing to say really but felt I should say it anyway, have a wonderful day my friends, and chaptarse. :emoticon-0111-blush

Looking forward to tomorrow Syd. Off to London at 9am, get there for 9.40am then off to The Natural History Museum for a few well spent hours before heading off to Stamford Bridge.
I think we will be lucky to get a draw, it is Chelsea, but a performance like last season will be amazing..

Well we've won our last three on the road! Clearly this is a bigger test and it could depend somewhat on how Chelsea set up and their attitude. We know MON will have us organised, we will work hard and we are excellent on the break. Clearly we may need another slice of luck to get a great result but I think most of us Sunderland fans look upon this one as any points gained are a bonus.

Negative. If we don't come back with the 3 points, I'm starting an official MoB!

Nah im kidding. I am going into this match looking at snatching a point, hopeful of 3 (Citeh take 2), but wouldn't be gutted if we did lose. It is Chelsea after all.

It depends on which chelsea team turns up, but I am hopeful of being able to take the 3 points off them.

Would be happy with a draw, and not disappointed with a loss unless the team collapses and we lose by more than 2 goals. Dont expect that to happen with MON in charge though.

We have done well lately but being realistic, I will be happy with a draw tomorrow.

As to transfers, we do not know if MoN has been given any cash to splash, and if so how much. Nor do we know who is available.

Looking at MoNs record he is not afraid to spend, so let's hope Ellis has opened his purse strings, and a suitable addition to the strike force is as I type in the pipeline. Does anyone happen to know where Sir Naill wand the CEO are?

The Chelsea game is one where we realistically should expect nowt. So why is it that I'm so hepeful of getting something from this game?
Syd: I would go easy on Chappaz at the moment as he is going through a bit of a personal crisis..

Poor Tash: that perhaps offers an explanation to the underlying frustration that comes out loud and clear in his posts...<laugh>
