There are a lot of unhappy souls on our board. Lost a potentially good young 'un. Our only prem striker being courted, no replacements.....

Also no word from Quinn or Bruce? No "backs to the wall" speeches, no "its all unfair, the big bad bullies".

Right. I KNOW they aren't sitting in their offices. I KNOW holidays are taken.

Am I thinking too optimistically that NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS?

Aye Bobby I'm hoping they are sorting out a couple of big deals and are keeping quiet so the deals are not hijacked.

You could be on to something Bobby
Quinn and Bruce do like to do deals in secret.
Surly they would of said something to placate the masses if a big deal wasn't imminent.

I think everyone's being a bit too negative. We need to put a bit of faith in Quinn, Walton and Bruce.

    Sorry Syd.
Your the last person who can ignore the fights.
One or two threads got way out of hand today and in military terms it was all blue on blue.

Over the last week we have only lost one player who had lots of potential and good/very good in games but he is only one and that does not make a team.

We have then been linked with the possible signings of three Man U 'rejects' who would inprove the squad making it stronger. Both Brown and O'shay do not set the world alight but they do bring experience, maybe bring to the squad what Zenden did last season, and they also bring the winning mentality to the squad which is one thing Bruce and co are still finding hard to change.

The potential siging of this Korean lad and a couple free's such and the keeper Westwood and Larson are also starts but will not win us the league but again give us competition for places, and if we do eventually sign Larson we might get some good service into the box from set pieces, and the Korean (Dong) will probably bring us in extra revenue form abroad (hopefuly he is a good player also).

People don't have the right to be exited with these potential sigings but according to Bruce we need 8- 9 new players now probably 10 with the sale of Henderson and all of the is upsetting after he has been in charge for two years. How many supporters thought we spend £10 mill on each potential new signing? it was never going to happen.

Both Bruce and Quinn will know that they need to now please the fans after selling Henderson and I hope the board will be working hard to bring in some 'big' names which will improve the squad dramatically.

Any way rant over and now the weekend begins.
