...and maybe I will buy another season ticket next season.

But I'm gonna wait 10 games and see. I have no illusions, I know we wont be buying loads of great players in the summer, and I'm not primarily concerned with watching a fantastically technical team, even though that would be great to see.

I just want a team similar to that of under Chris Hughton. A team not amazingly technical but fights and produces great performances reasonably often and beats the likes of Man Utd at home due to hard work and determination, as well as having a half decent manager that can inspire a team to shock the bigger clubs.

I don't mind being hammered with the likes of City due to sheer class sometimes, but as long as the players go down fighting.

Sunday proved that we've actually got a team that could be more than just a pile of gutless little bitches. Jonas, Anita, Colback, Sissoko, Janmaat, Riviere all showed heart and determination, and THAT is what we used to see all the time under Hughton, even if the football wasn't always great.

We need to start bringing in players young and home growing them, rather than relying on foreign players in their mid 20's who are already soft as ****e for good.

A push for 8/9th place next season, that's all I'm asking, and we can build from there. From what we have already in the squad, as well as the financial resources and fanbase we have, that is VERY achievable. There's no reason we can't be back in Europa League in the next 4 years, no reason. And no excuse for the terrible cup runs either.

I would love the fight and commitment

But then again, i wouldnt mind watching aguero, Silva and toure banging in 4s,5s and sixes each week at a cost of 200,000 grand each, obviously being paid by the owner.

I think to attract any decent players and keep any decent players (janmaat/sissoko) we need to make one or two big signings, Mitrovic up front and maybe one or two more in excess of £12m. maybe one very good defender one very good CM and a really good striker, anything else brought in should be value signings, players that can improve.

We need more than one good defender. Sissoko also needs to pull his socks up or get rid if you ask me. The lack of commitment he showed for most of the second half of the season was unacceptable.

The players will want to play for the fans but also need a leader. We have no one that can pick the team up when they're knocked down. We need a proper manager and also a proper captain.

I agree we need more than one defender, but I think we need one top class cb, Dummet and haidara cover lb, Janmaat rb + one young rb for cover and then S taylor and collo as our cb cover with one top top class cb coming in and another good young cb perhaps with good potential that could form a top partnership and learn from the other. Prefrably we could look at it by nation, i always seem to think that two CB's from the same country work more effectively, especially communication and shape wise.

I'd go along with that, except that I'd have us buying another left back and have Dummet as the young CB that could develop next to a quality one. I think the lad has bags of potential at CB next to the right player and with the right coaching staff to learn from.

We also need to see the right coaching staff looking after the development squad so that they are ready to step up. Nobody wants an injury crisis, but if we have one let's be able to play a young CB at centre-back rather than sticking a five foot nothing midfielder in there. Other clubs cope with kids when they have to but we're always terrified to play them. People should be asking why!

Yes we need a top class CB, who also leads by example, but don't forget we also have Lescalles coming in next season who could turn out to be a good option to play alongside the new CB. Saylor , Good, Streete could be back ups as all should be fit. Get rid of Colo & Williamson.

The entire organisation needs looking at ...starting at the top and working down would be my priority ..

The board who appoint /make footballing /commercial/community/strategic etc decisions is the most important thing to address in my eyes ...It has proved itself in the last few years to be incapable of making any ..half decent decision. Get in people with the right skill set/ambition for the model that MA (apparently) wants to achieve, and pay them properly (this is a multi million pound organisation and it is, frankly, being run by incompetents at best and venal scum at worst).

Next level .. sort out the backroom staff/facilities/medical staff..and yep ..pay the right people proerley to come ... I keep liking it to a F1 team hiring the bloke next door to fix and design their cars...its madness ..as all you end up with is a F1 car that cost millions to acquire and keep running but is completely and utterly ****e and with a max speed of 50 mph, due to the incompetents building /fixing it

finally ..Playing staff, If the above are addressed it would make decisions re players a lot , lot easier ... ie Dummett as future CB is a possible GIVEN the right coaching / development .. otherwise he is destined to remain a borderline championship /prem defender at best.

On field leadership + someone with a some footballing intelligence is desperately required in the team and has been sorely lacking since cabs left.

Totally agree that i want a team that tries and has commitment and passion for playing a front -footed on the deck attacking footie ...Fair do's we will get stuffed occasionally, feck up and be useless occasionally , end up in mid table mediocrity etc etc...but that is forgivable if the team tries to play the game properly ..As that in itself is the core to moving on to bigger and better things.. ie it attracts staff (players and backroom) more easily, the fans a re happier. the staff happier it a positive upward cycle ..and THAT would get my whole hearted support.

I agree completely Tash. I'd put being able to connect with a team above insisting on winning trophies or every game. I just want a team which is committed week in week out, plays attacking football on the deck. Win some lose draw some I'm not bothered. If we finish 15th and flirt with relegation but I think we've had a right old go then I'm ok with it. Obviously if we could add winning and top half finishes to the above then all the better.

To start things off right we need a good purge, starting with Carver, Woodman and Stone and then we bring in a proper manager with new staff. We need to clean the pipes and flush these three ****s into oblivion.

I'm with you on Dummet. We need to ensure he is developed as a CB. He is much better in there.

I agree Tash but as Nolberto said, change has to be throughout the club.
