I was over the moon that my three kids all bought me a present...My dad who died almost 10 years ago now has also been very much in my thought today..

 

I'm lucky my dad is still here and has always been my best mate.
There for everything I have ever needed, money, presents, bail etc. Old b*stards still out every night spending my inheritance tho.

 

I've two kids - one remembered and made a fuss of me, the other forgot and sent a text.

Now I know that you are not meant to have favourites when it comes to your children, but..........................

 

Still miss mine 23 years on. GREAT man, wonderful dad.

I was anticipating an influx of cards...but then again i thought maybe not....my flock is spread far and wide.....

But it is my little half thai baby that has stolen my heart....(you have seen her)

 

I sure have and she is gorgeous..

 

I've got a great dad, and I can't imagine what I'd be like without my dads love and discipline. I see loads of people my age acting like ****s, and when I was a kid, I hated it when my dad gave me a clip round the ear, but I now know why he did it and I appreciate it.

We all need mothers and fathers.

 

I just love being a dad & grandad anytime

 

I still clip my son, he is 35. 6ft + so I clip him then quickly say remember I am your dad, he if clipped me back he would flatten me.

 

i enjoyed our lass throwing a card and a bob seiger cd at me while shouting get up and hug your son

 

I got a card and chocolates off Osac, not sure how he got to the shops for them but got a call from Annette to say she had seen them on the doorstep. Lucky she was passing.

 

But it is not easy mate,

I have this one (my last for sure....maybe) and i spoil her rotten, I love kids , i'd have a dozen or two, if i could afford i.

 

I work in a maternity ward, and I see some really lovely kids there, beautiful things, and it's a horrifying fact... and I'd brace yourselves for this...

... but over half the mothers around my age (16-21) smoked throughout their pregnancies, and most of them don't look as if they even care that they were hurting their babies.

It sickens me that so many people that don't deserve kids have them, where as so many deserving couples can't.

Thank you......But i don't think you are in a position to lecture me on child birth or women's anatomy.

I have witnessed several child births, and a vast knowledge of women's anatomy..Please do not get into this one , just cos you have a new job/

 

I'm not looking for an argument. But It just upsets me how many people out there don't realise how special babies are, and they don't even care.
