been quiet for a while now on new transfers coming in, is that a good thing? does it show we are doing work behind the scenes, as none of the newspapers caught wind of the three we signed so far till the last minute if that, and now they have ran out of rumors to spread, i know there has been talk of mutch and williams, but they have been round since the end of the season with no new players really linked, might there be a few surprises to come? i hope so and soon!
I'm guessing several suprises to come, the 3 in so far are just squad fillers, one or two quality signings to come imo. Time for the yank to spend some of his coin.
It's been quiet on the transfer front at Sunderland since Ellis took over - never do rumours come from our club they only ever come from papers - and most years we are linked with over 100 players! I prefer it this way - ponly time I take notice of rumours is when I see the rumoured individual with his Sunderland shirt in hand
yer i prefere it that way at times so then other clubs/managers dont get wind and try and steal it away or tempt the player with other interest eg saggy face especially with him back in the pl
