that might be 3 out of about 400 corners then...them matches were a while back and we have alot of corners every match....but it just re itterates the point that it was something we needed to work on.
 
I'm really pleased at our impovements in defending and attacking set pieces. After the Stoke game the message finally seemed to get through how much our woeful record in set pieces was costing us.

Since then 3 games have seen no set pieces conceded and two scored from. A massive turnaround after a season in which previously had conceded far more than scored from.

If we can keep the set pieces in our favour till the end of the season, then our superiority in open play to the vast majority of other teams could easily bring us an FA Cup and top four.

Much better, thank you. Bale's very good in the center, but not quite as good, I think, as VDV or Ade. On the left he's the best in the world, and it was good to see him back there. Harry had the lineup right--or, at least, he picked the team I wanted, which was Sandro and Parker. W/o those two, Swansea would have had too much of the ball.

Since we know they've been working on corners thanks to our comments, I wonder if Swansea also took my comments to the effect that Ade's a bigger threat to pass than score too literally?

Credit to Swansea, who continue to play very well.
 
i think we looked very good because of who we were playing..what i mean is we played a team who also like to attack and play open footy..therefore it suits us..thats why we usually perform well against top teams but struggle against the Stokes and Wolves......i think alot of us including myself will be grumbling again once we play the cloggers as our team isnt really set up for that.

i hope i am wrong.
 
Same as that Spurf <ok>. I hold my hand up to being pretty despondant at times, one particular day I would have given Only One DB a run for his money! <yikes>...but I soon slapped myself out of that one. :) Its been a good week, goons losing and getting to Wembley puts a feelgood factor into any club, I think that has helped the mindset enormously with a positive focus, huge game away next, but if we come out of there with a win we'll have momentum.
 
If LDL...er...I mean Harry...takes the England job, I doubt we'll see LDL on this board ever again.
