Those right at the top Have been out to shop But players weren´t top of the list, So how will they do Those who have a new Leader, and will the old be missed How will Man U. play Without a Sir A Now positioned out in the cold, And what of Chelsea Will they be happy Now they´ve replaced old-ish with old And Pellegrini For R. Mancini How much of a change can that be, From the land of Rome And Chile they´ve come To make their mark on Man City And Everton blue And Stoke City too Will have a new face at the top, With all that entails Will that tip the scales Upwards or down towards the drop It´s certainly true That those with a new Boss, may find it harder this year, To improve their place During this long race Which could bring the rest of us cheer So though it´s the norm For those out of form To find ways to relieve the curse, This year we will see If last year´s top three Have changed for the better or worse. Would certainly be nice if the top 5 or 6 did just begin to come back to the rest of us. Can´t honestly see that any of the above five have made any significant managerial changes for the better, but no doubt time will tell.
Chelsea´s ´out with new, in with the old´ idea might give them a lift I suppose, but it´s not very often that players or managers going back to a club for the second time, have quite as much impact as on their first visit.
Hi RBF, you're right, we are all watching to see what a difference there will be at those clubs with new managers! These days results are expected immediately so the new managers, if things don't go well, could be under a lot of pressure, which could create even further problems for them!
