Sorry chaps, I said this on BCC 606 and now on Not 606, unless we spent at least 50 to 100,000,000 £ we would not stay in the Prem! i do not care what some of you think abut me, but try and see the truth! Spend or go DOWN, simple as that!

You're not going to get much acknowledgement for calling it right on here Jimmy (although 50-100m is a tad excessive! I put it at 15-20m).

Wages are always going to be a problem due to the size of LR. With gates of 19k you cant sustain the wage demands & bonuses of above average prem players. QPR cant be run as a business AND stay at LR.

20,000 is probably the amount of rangers rans who would go to a game, so maybe a stadium seating 25,30,000?

    we can dream...

As I pointed out yesterday this is the wake-up call to all involved in the takeover that the football club needs investment and £1.25 million wouldn't be enough for a League One club let alone a PL club. The high-profile defeat could be a blessing in disguise as there are still 17 days to go before the transfer window closes. Hopefully the Goons will realise that they are pricing the club unrealistically and each defeat will knock millions off the value and the empty seats in the ground will also knock them in the pocket whilst denying many hard-up true supporters the opportunity to watch their team.

The Goons do care about one thing - success, albeit their own first and foremost. Which ever way you look at this thing, there is no success in failure. Hold fast for the moment.

Perhaps the money given to us for being in the premier league is being used to cover our losses over the season with 1.2 million surplus to spend on players? Accountants will have factored in an average attendance to take into highs and lows. Wouldnt an investor look at making a return on their money? So how would that be possible given our small ground and fan base. Unless of course an investor has so much loot he uses QPR as a plaything. TonyF hasnt got that kind of money.
