    Love this fella.

It's a shame Fatty will try to cash in though.

He's been a rare light in the darkness for me this year.

AYOZE Perez has brushed aside speculation linking him with a summer move away from Newcastle United.

The Spanish striker, who has had an impressive first season on Tyneside, has reportedly attracted the interest of Arsenal and Manchester United over recent months.

However, the 21-year-old – signed from Tenerife last summer – insists he is happy at St James’s Park, and believes it would be a mistake to leave the Tynesiders so early.

When asked if he thought he could make another move soon, Perez told Diario De Avisos: “It would be a mistake to start thinking that now; it is too early. I’ve been at Newcastle for a few months and am very happy. I continue to work as usual and am in no rush. I just think about helping the team and returning all the trust the club has given me.”

The striker added: “It is wonderful how things have gone in no time. It has changed my life, as from almost not playing in Tenerife to playing in the Premier League, the jump has been great.

“I have assimilated so quickly and things have changed so much ... as I said, 2014 was a great year for me and I just hope that 2015 follows the same line.”

It's very similar to the Spanish word, so it's possible.

His performances have been the best thing about our season. There is no way we should have been coping with him up there on his own for most of the time but he's done himself and us proud.

Been a breath of fresh air, yet bellend Carver would rather pick players like Obershit and Rivierie.

He'll be leaving, they will say the right things but his agents will be looking to get him out. I see Janmaat is being lined up by Liverpool too. Happy days.
