A good sentiment. Unfortunately the high earners that came in this season do not have that spirit. I am sure Faurlin is very loyal and given last years grief over the FA charge and his injury he will stay with us. In fact if he recovers he should be made captain. I would also like us to tie Adel up with a long contract. Those two young men along with Mackie have been central in the last few years dramas and owe us as much as we owe them. We go again- but we need to keep our core of young talent. The other ageing mercernaries that Hughes paid top dollar for can do one if we can get any money back on their contracts.

He's a young man and he is an idiot savant but he has learnt a lot this year and will be even more potent in the Championship than he was last year. He got 19 goals last season and is a proven talent at that level. Even if we sell him for 5 million we pay Spuds 40%-no point even thinking about that deal
Any manager coming up from the champ would be willing to take a punt on faurs, his game doesnt depend on speed and he looked completely at home at the start of the Prem Making him captain would be the only way we could kep him i reckon.
