Interesting, but I disagree. d definately has a 'value', it could be a positive or a negative. would you care to elaborate? any more takers?
d must be zero. John Hughs is a nothing so a=0 anonymity, by definition, must also be nothing, so b=0 therefore (a+b) =0 It doesn't matter what value you give to c because any number times zero = zero.
Question 2 from the same paper A man has a bag of coloured balls. There are 6 red balls, 5blue balls, 3 yellow balls and 11 green balls. What is the probability of pulling out John Hughs?

I did explain this to you on another thread when you made similar comments about Ashley Williams. Describing someone by the colour of their skin when you, and everyone else involved in that discussion know their names, is inherently racist.
THE ANSWER IS .... (There was a reason I had not given the answer yet, patience is a virtue but I had an inkling change was afoot..... d = the eventual demise of this thread, as numbers drop away from a Swansea forum due to the Modus Operandi of a sole idiot who spews vitriol, craves attention and believes he is far more important than the good people of his adopted town. However, the intelligent folks that read/moderate this forum, not606 and students of mathematics have realised that the value d is totally dependant on c (his swansea audience). This is a Swansea forum after all. Any newcomeers to this forum would have been instantly turned off by his continuous bile.
