I noticed that supers mentioned this on another thread but couldnt be bothered to search for it again <laugh>

Anyways, just an interesting little thing about this player. Not only does he play CB he can also play that all illusive holding midfield role that we keep going on about <ok>

The "Fail" are usually wrong but this time, im really hoping there not!

he's a cracking player - totally marked rooney out of a game last year. i understand he has a 'reputation' as a nutcase though - not sure how that will fit in at city <laugh>

i'd only seen him play centre back so if he plays holding man role too then that's a good thing. i mentioned on the other thread i think it is unlikely - he has been in high demand - certainly both milan clubs were linked with him earlier last season <ok>

Well let`s hope that CH has worked his magic again

Irrespective of who each of us want to see signed, his acquisitions this summer have been superb:

PL 11/12: Pilkington, E. Bennett, Johnson, Morrison, Vaughan, Naughton, Ayala
(2 League One, 2 Championship, 2 Youth and 1 Medical Nightmare

vs.

CH 12/13: Whittaker, Turner, Garrido, Butterfield, Snodgrass, X, X
(1 SPL, 1 Premier League. 2 Championship, 1 Serie A)

Just an observation, but we have abandoned the League 1 & Youth talent recruitment, and aimed higher <ok>

Dragovic would be a real coup, and would solve our CB and DM problems in one single transfer

i don't think its been abandoned!

the signatures of snoddy and butterfield suggest otherwise. what has happened is that its become more difficult to recruit those type of players because a) we are competing with more clubs for the players now, having been alerted to 'hidden gems' by swansea and ourselves and b) we are trying to keep our heads above water and need a little more experience in the team, especially at the back to help shore us up. we are signing the players who still fit the norwich mould and that's good to see <ok>
