Liverpool today confirmed they have completed the signing of Alexander Doni from AS Roma. The goalkeeper has put pen to paper on a contract with the Reds after agreeing personal terms and passing a medical. Doni, who has 10 caps for his country, made 179 appearances for Roma in six seasons in Italy during which time he lifted the Coppa Italia twice as well as the Supercoppa Italiana. The 31-year-old custodian also helped Brazil to success in the 2007 Copa America. Your thoughts?
Does that mean another one of ''Hodgsons horrors'' aka Brad Jones is getting the boot.Well I hope so.I also reckon Gulasci should be sent on loan...he's very raw.Same with Martin Hansen.
OMG WE OVERSPENT ON THAT ONE!!!!!!! When will this spend spend spend culture end???? We're buying the league! in all seriousness. Welcome to the Club Doni. YNWA EDIT - does anyone know his wage? it's just talks broke down last month due to personal terms and i'm interested to know what we offered him to get him here
Sky sports headline: Done deal for Doni Good signing, good keepr for cover. His got experience, quality, nice addition. My only question is why/how we got him free? He was under contract with Roma until 2013. Welcome to Liverpool FC Doni. So, we have King Kenny and a Don, next?
My initial thought was wage bill but they have a new owner who has funds (he is a member of FSG) so i'm not sure. maybe they have a younger sub keeper who they're looking to blood, maybe the player has an issue with one of the coaching staff
FFS! YET ANOTHER PLAYER WITH NO PACE! We're so gonna get relegated next season because we haven't bought anyone with pace.
Think you are thinking of Rei, portuguese that means King, Spainish probably the addition of na, changed it to queen.
