It has been dragging on for a very long time, pity, but not surprising.

Probably not as time critical now that we were able to pick up 3 pts. We'll get someone in I'm sure but only one more league game to hold out.

His greed will mean he will have to sit on PSG's bench then probably, instead of regular games for us.

Yep think youre right. Hopefully it means that we will no longer be held to ranson any more paying silly wages to players who would rather sit on the bench at other clubs. He has not played in ages and quite frankly we need players now who are fit, sharp and hungry. Sounds like this bloke is like so many others, all they see is the money sign. Let him rot at chelsea. He is not what we need right now, ie another mercenary.

Actually, if you read his Agents Twitter, it says the clubs can't agree a fee. I think Alex would sign if he could!

    That's not his agents Twitter.
Doubtful it is Kia's either, looks like a scam account to me.
I think Chelsea are playing hardball because it is us.
3.5 million does sound cheap and AVB has said we should offer a bit more.
But i agree about us signing mercernaries and there could have been something dodgy in his medical.

That's what occurred to me when I read it. QPR should respond by looking elsewhere, and give Alex something to think about

Why would we hold out because it is you? Alex is still a quality player that could offer a lot. I could understand us playing hardball if it was to a rival like Arsenal or Spurs where it could come back to bite us on the backside but as Chelsea are keen to sell I don't think they're playing hardball for the sake of it

This guy's stock is plummeting rapidly. How many millions for a virtual pensioner in footballing terms?

I only wanted us to sign him because he had a good free-kick on him.
We don't need that now Buz is alight and we have Taiwo coming in, my word that lad has a delightfully marvellous and very hard free-kick in his locker.
So as for Alex...See ya, your just a Fitz Hall with hair!
