That'd be great for him and Spurs. He's too good for Town.

League One play-offs would do him the world of good though. Coping with real pressure in front of a big crowd would be an excellent experience to draw on.

You would also need to post their previous records. You can also look for the stats of strikers who arrived with impressive goal records (like soldado), struggled to adapt, and if they improved or sent packing home (or to a wealthy Russian club).

No point - because stats are only there to guide - they rarely prove anything. I'd say based on their records there is about a 80% chance that Soldado is better than Remy. But Remy's best year is quite likely to be better than Soldado's worst one.
 
Remy's on a season-long loan to Newcastle from QPR. There is a rumour that we're interested in his occasional France teammate Bafétimbi Gomis, though.
The Lyon striker's out of contract at the end of the season, so he'd probably be available on the cheap.

Might be worth looking out for his equaliser in today's game that earned Swindon a point.

Superb goal, despite being dragged back.
 
What an excellent goal from the lad. Good to see he has the confidence to take the defenders on and then finish it off by scoring. He deserves the opportunity to step up a division for the rest of this season.
