    Players who would have any interest in the ROI have been traditionally shunned and ignored by Scotland. Football ability
    on its own has never counted in Scotland.

    Really? Didn't Craig Levein send out an e-mail to all the players in the English Leagues to see if any of them were eligible to play for Scotland somehow. I think it does matter!
