Beat me to it, Zeller. Puts a little 'meat on the bones' where there was precious little before (wikipedia excepted <laugh>)

Possibly wrong to be disappointed. The least us fans can do is give the guy a chance - and I don't mean to expect a win at the weekend.
Amazed? Not sure why you would be. If it was Sir Alex I could understand amazement creeping in <laugh>

For me i feel the championship a bloody hard league. Think we could do with a experienced championship man.

Interesting that he's still playing too, I wonder if he'll carry on should he join us ?

It's a train of thought I can accept, but who is there out there, that give us that experience? I can only think of Neil Warnock, and I dare say he would not be especially welcomed by many. The other experienced Championship managers have never actually achieved anything either, despite their experience.

I think I quite like the idea. It's better than some of the usual suspects. Someone whose currently successful at his club seemingly young and ambitious.

I'd qualify that by saying I still personally would go for experience but unproven and Scottish has worked before b

Maybe that's the thinking. No preconceptions, a decent - if limited C.V. to date, willing to work with recruitment chief and director of football, it appears. Ethos of hard work and most importantly, young and ambitious, with a long, and ideally successful managerial career ahead of him if he can kick our WCT into some form of consistent shape.
What's not to like? Better than a Jol, Sherwood, Megson, Keane, Warnock who are all so intransigent that it's 'their way or no way'.
I'm genuinely quite excited by this and hope now that it happens <ok>

I would think they would have got MP approval and he will be part of the team to help this young manager. I think the one member at threat if this happens is Gary Holt

True Munky but Grant had only 'coached' before a la Phelan if you recall, the young fella a least has management experience. As I said in a previous post, it will be interesting to see if he hangs up his boots or not ?

Peter Grant was a coach when we employed him and went back to do that job! We are if this happens employing a manager!!

Good half time entertainment for a packed Carrow road house - one sweaty sock kicking seven bells out of another? <laugh> <ok>
Much better 'fun' than those inflatable sumo wrestlers SkyTV used to insist on in the early 90s <ok>
