Are you referring to his post-match interview on sky sports?

If so you might want to watch it over again, he said Newcastle fielded a stronger side, PHYSICALLY. I would agree that the likes of Ameobi, Tiote, Coloccini and Williamson are big physical players who consistently out muscled the majority of our younger players all night.

With reference to the match, we rode our luck in the second half, Cisse looked his best, Tavernier and Ferguson looked very good, Gosling, Williamson and your GK looked awful, Vuckic looked good although he could do with some practice with his finishing. From our point of view, good to see Fletcher get a full game, looked solid for the most part, Rooney looked decent enough, Cleverley looked ok, Anderson over weight and predictable despite his goal, Hernandez looks out of touch, Buttner solid, nothing of great note from the youngsters and Welbeck is looking distinctly average at the minute. It was an ugly win for us, but our young boys should get some good experience going to Stamford Bridge.

Fergie is was knighted (quite rightly) because of his achievements and contributions to sport, along with his charity work, not for his post-match interviews.
