    I've suddenly started getting hundreds of emails from this site with alerts for every topic I've ever read!

    I have been into "settings" and turned everything around alerts off but it's still happening. Anyone know how else I might be able to stop it happening?

    I did. It said I could turn off email alerts which I did. Then got another!

    It's not just you. It's an error with the site, presumably due to whatever problems caused it to go down over the weekend.

    The supermods are aware of the issue, hopefully it will be resolved at the same time as the adverts.

    Have you got an "ignore sender" function in your e-mail service ? If so, tag the e-mail senders address until the problem is cleared up if it's cluttering up your in-box.

    I have Gold Service so I don't get e.mail alerts.

    Just send your credit card details to DMD, he'll take care of everything.

    I hate it when these disruptions make you change your password. I've had to rename our cat 4 times this month.

    I've just deleted a whole stack of alerts, via e-mail from 2016. Most annoying.
