According to some reports Tunchev has been told he can go and leave Leicester City on a free (sad day for me), He has always given his all when he has worn the blue shirt and played for us. To me is he is a quality player which I am very sad to see go, think he should have been given more of chance at the back this season under NP. I also hear crystal palace and one other championship club are after him, what a bargin on a freebie.
I'm fully with you on this - he put in some storming displays for Palace in the first few months of the season and, given our obvious defensive frailities, I cannot understand why he never got an opportunity to show what he could do when he returned from the loan spell ... I can only think that he must have picked up some further injuries etc ... a real class act in a squad with more ego than technique ... I wish him well.
He was a very decent player but we cant keep him any longer. His body isnt up to the job, Nigel is doing the right thing in letting him go, we cant keep paying him and keeping him on the books and getting nothing out of it Good luck where ever he goes

I thought he already had been released? Oh well - was immense in L1 but got an injury and didn't play for us properly for the next 2 years. Goodbye Tunch.
Remember when we played Posh at home in League One. They had Aaron McLean who was on fire and Tunchev marked him out of the game and made him look BSP quality. Won 4-0 and the clean sheet was all down to Tunch. I was gutted when he got injured against Palace in a poxy league cup game, could have been avoided, I thought the season was ended there Good luck tunch!
