No idea it had ever been sold on draught.

My first ever night out in Sunderland, when I was about 15, had 3 bottles of Double Maxim in the Rosedene. ****faced all the way home!

Only recently realised it was a local brewery (local to me, that is). I go for the Columbus Pale Ale, Emmer Pale Ale and Emmer IPA - 3 bottles gets me fairly pissed these days. It's even better now I saw they sell it in the supermarkets for EUR 4.10 a bottle. Better than paying EUR 8 a bottle in the pub, or EUR 10 in a restaurant..

Anyway, I also like Dale's Pale Ale when I can find it, or a pint of Landlord (Timothy Taylor) when back in the UK.

Last time JJ, Nick & me were in the New Derby the beer was ****ing rank.
We just left it & moved on to the Harbour View.
Same beer, different pint altogether.
It's not the first time I've had bad beer in the Derby mind.

Thing is that I rarely drink at home.. For me drinking goes hand in hand with socialising..

Drank John Smiths at York races yesterday. Horrible stuff but to be sociable I sank a few. Then later back into town and onto Black Sheep ale then a couple of bottles of Hobgoblin. Not sure what I drank after that but enjoyed them all.

I actually dont mind Sam Smiths but I do prefer real or craft ales.
