    Harry please, please award Ale with a new contract
    He was outstanding today and seems to be back to his best the player we all remember.

    One or two sloppy passes, but looking close to his best. Definitely worth a new contract.

    Was surprised at the starting line-up. Glad to see Ale back as he played very well, IMO. Hopefully with Austin up-front he will get the chance to play a few through balls. Can't help thinking that he needed someone (i.e. Adel) in the hole to lay it off to but that's another issue.

    It was great to see Ale back and playing with some of the skill of 2 years ago, some great ball winning and short but effective passing. But he still looks a bit slow to me, and was poor when we were 1 -0 under, whereas Barton kept us in it then. Ale picked himself up with the rest though, except Henry was poor.

    What a surprising day. Barton, Ale, Hoilett & AJ all played well. A great result. The downer for me was the total arsehole two seats in front of me (pink tshirt removed most of the match) who didnt bother watching the game but seemed to spend the entire 90 mins staring at the away supporters making ****er gestures at them and shouting abuse. A complete embarrassment.

    He's had 1 good game. You don't earn a new contract after 1 good performance. Let's see him be consistent and perform well in the tough upcoming games.

    Weve got until January and then foreign teams can sign him for free, give him a couple of months and then start negotiating a new contract if its deserved.

    Faurlin on form and i mean on form could play for a top ten premiership side ...on form very very gifted player and his little session where he snapped three Wednesday player in half was outstanding Saturday
