Ale confident the tide is turning for Rangers …
Rangers stretched their mini unbeaten run to four matches with a 0-0 draw against in-form Forest at The City Ground and whilst the R’s have won only one of Hasselbaink’s ten league games in charge, the popular midfielder is confident wins will come.
"We need to keep digging in,” he told www.qpr.co.uk.
"We are showing fight but we feel we aren't getting what we deserve at the moment.
"We have to keep going – and if we continue to do the right things, maybe a bit of luck will go our way and we will get some wins.”
He added: "These points away from home will be important to us, but we need wins and we are giving everything to turn draws into victories.
“I think we are improving.
"It's not been a good season for us, but we are looking to finish strong.
"We are learning all the time from the new gaffer.
"We are definitely more difficult to beat on the road and if we build some momentum at home, we will climb the table - I am confident of that.
"We controlled the game. We managed the situation and created chances.
"On another day we could've easily won it.”
Faurlin came as close as anyone to breaking the deadlock in the stalemate, seeing his delightful free-kick on the stroke of half-time tipped onto the crossbar by Dorus De Vries
He recalled: "First you need to fight with the guys to get the ball to take the kick!
"Then, when it's as close to the edge of the box as it was, you need to get it over the wall and place it.
"The keeper told me he gambled – he moved a little bit earlier than he normally would.
"He made a good save – it's just one of those things.
Faurlin partnered Massimo Luongo – recalled to the side in recent weeks – in the heart of the Hoops midfield and the Argentine was pleased with how the pair dovetailed in the middle of the park.
"Mass is young, exciting prospect – a really good prospect for this club,” said Faurlin.
"He likes to go forward, he's always ahead of the play – and we worked that balance well.
"You know he is always going to be there and available.
"We have good options in midfield now, especially in the central positions.”
