As normal all news and build up for the Aldershot game will appear on this thread over the next few days. The poll will close on Friday at 05:24 PM
Aldershot are in bad form, but Rovers have not won a league game on an international break for nearly 5 years, so a victory could be beyond us.
We last won at Aldershot in 1989 (when they were just called Aldershot) all be it we've only play there 3 times since. Agree with AMOT (that sounds good) I also think the victory could be beyond us this time around we've had an excellent run of late but just feel in my head that this is where it will end. I'm going for a 2-1 win to The Shots please prove me wrong guys
I hate seeing stats like that! just reminds me how bad the last 5 years have been! moving on to a brighter side we do seem to stopping these bad habits/ruts and it finally feels like were progressing again. I've still gone for a Rovers lose I ain't being the one to jynx it! my record still stands strong, ever since I've stopped betting and predicting the Gas to win we've been doing better.

I always enjoy a SM interview, he speaks the truth and doesn't give a typical footballers input. errmmm emmm ye we played good.
The only game we have won on an international break in that time was against Corby in the FA Cup in 2011.
Worth noting that since we've been in the conference we've never lost a game in the month of October.
I think this team can grind out results at places like this. It's not pretty at the moment but at least it's effective.
A Look At Aldershot Town Part 2 - Recreation Ground Football has been played at The Recreation Ground in Aldershot since 1927 when Aldershot (later reformed as Aldershot Town) was founded. The ground hosted League football between 1932 and 1992 when Aldershot were members of the football league. Its current tenants Aldershot Town have used the ground since forming in 1992 and the ground has once again hosted league football between 2008 and 2013. The ground currently has a capacity of 7,100, though the record attendance at the ground is 19,138, recorded when Aldershot played Carlisle United on 28 January 1970 in an FA Cup replay. The ground is affectionately known as 'The Rec' though for sponsorship reasons its official name is now The Electrical Services Stadium. As of November 2011, Aldershot have entered a competition between several clubs to win £100,000 to refurbish their toilet facilities at the Recreation Ground and are actively seeking votes from supporters. Current Capacity The capacity of the ground was reduced at the end of the 2007-2008 season to 7,100.[3] This includes a total away allocation of 1,100 of which around 250 is seated. The capacity was previously set at 7,500, however promotion to the Football League meant changes were introduced which resulted in the capacity being reduced. Approximate capacity breakdown: South Side: 1,380 East Bank: 4,180 North Stand: 1,540 High Street End: 0 Total: 7,100 please log in to view this image
