i agree pace is needed but today the loan window closes and parkes injury happened less than 48 hours ago. i doubt he was after a new CD until parkes injury. i doubt branston was MM 1st choice. so many people been saying we have too many youngsters or players with a lot of experience. this guy brings that. lets give him a chance. i was disappointed that MM brought in etheridge to replace walker. etheridge proved me wrong and made me not judge a player before he puts on a rovers shirt
Rodders just a thought you have defenders that are not good enough for the championship surely you would be ok loaning them to us. In fact most of your team fall into that category and are used to a relegation battle so send them all over COR
No offence CJ I am only looking at the players history,he may be fantastic....hope so however Higgs spinned that they have been looking at other players to sign for the team given our lack of depth in the defensive qtr one assumes they have been looking to add to this area if so it cannot have been the Shots bench warmer. Perhaps the list was v short We appear to have written this season off already it will not be long before they admit we are aiming for a top ten finish this season its all Bu**s**t COR
no offence taken i've certainly not been offended by anything you have said. we all have opinions and all disappointed over things and react in different ways. best thing about this forum compared to others is that when difference of opinion happens which happens often, no one shouts down anyone but respect each other and get a good debate going. thats how i taken this his history dont look good but he has experience at this level, he knows what he is doing, its very short term until parkes/bolger returns, he could be just what we need. i doubt he was MM main choice but maybe no one else wanted to come, or not experienced enough for MM or we didnt have the budget for others or parent clubs wanted longer deal but CB is only needed short term. we just dont know i doubt MM was after a CB. i bet he was after a CM but due to parkes injury he had to prioritise and working non stop over last 48 hours to find someone. im sure MM isnt happy with what he got but rather have branston than have no one. just dont know
