As seen in the Daily Mail:

A Leeds director wants to ban alcohol from being consumed anywhere within Elland Road to reflect the Muslim beliefs of owners GFH Capital, the Dubai-based subsidiary of a Bahraini Islamic investment bank.

    Thin end of the wedge......

LOL, he defo does not live in either Dubai or Bahrain

Dubai: Boozing hrs 11.00 right round to 02.00 (13hrs) with all outlets having international girls of the night
Bahrain: same as above, but the girls are prominantely tiddly winks, with a sprinkling of arabic for good measure.

Hypocrites and i think its funny as fcuk <laugh>

Leeds sold the catering rights within the ground to Compass Group, so can't dictate product sales. Can't see caterers being keen on losing their biggest seller and cutting profits.

Always hated the beer at Elland Road, it's that Carling or Carlsberg pish, why not Stella or Heineken? Once went to an Edinburgh rugby game against the Ospreys at Murrayfield, it was a Magners League Rugby Union game and when I went to the stall selling alcohol and asked for a Magners, they stated that they didn't sell it, as they hadn't the permission of the company!
