<peacedove> Alberto Aquilani came off the bench to face Arsenal yesterday.I was not impressed, I do not think he have the
stamina to play in the premiership.Good thing we sent him out on loan.<ok>

No it's a terrible thing we sent him on loan. Should of sold him when clearly he didn't want to stay at Liverpool.

Shocking amount of money that's gone down the ****ter.

It was because we are unable to find buyer he went on loan. No one wants to pay the asking price:they cannot also match
    his wages.<ok>

I've heard he's been playing quite well in Italy? Maybe just needed more time to settle. Or maybe he would have never settled. Who knows?

Aren't we due 5mil or something pathetic like that for him if he stays at AC? Who negotiated that deal?

  7. Seen as though it was in the summer, it would have been Comolli.

Anyone got a rough idea what wages Aquilani picks up? A basic wage of £60k equates to £3m per annum. If Aquilani doesn't want to play for us and we weren't going to use him then it makes sense to get him off our books asap. We'll have to take the hit since no one wants to pay £12+ for him!

He's got 6 assists and 1 goal in 15 Serie A games for AC Milan this season.

Had not played since late December due to injury so that's probably why he didn't look great last night.

I think he only needs to make 4 more appearances for them and then it triggers the transfer. So we might be due some money in the next couple of weeks or he wont play for the rest of the season and we will be in the same situation as last summer.

I liked the look of Aqua and wished he'd have at least tried to give it a go for us, but obviously he wasn't interested. When that happens you just have to get rid asap.
I just can't understand why we did such a lousy deal on him. They definitely saw us coming on that one.

It's a shame because we saw how good he was at Liverpool (even though it was short spell). What a waste.

I'm sure I read somewhere that in the last 3 months he played, (just before Woy loaned him out, and replaced him with Poulsen) he had the most assists in the Premiership.

Either he never got a proper chance at Liverpool or he hated living in England and playing for Liverpool. I think it was the latter.

I thought it was his girlfriend who couldn't stand living in the cold, wet North West of England.?

Tevez came off worse living in "a city that only has one restaurant and closes early".

At least Balotelli enjoyed himself last friday night in the city that never sleeps.

I thought Tevez only ate raw meat?
As for Mario, he looks like he doesn't know what planet he's on- never mind city.

I've found a bit of information on Aqua's situation at AC Milan...

    Source: http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896...will-become-an-official-ac-milan-player-after

So it looks like Aqua is on his way out of Liverpool. This seems to confirm what Bindiana said in post #9. After his appearance against Arsenal in the Champions League last night, he's now played 21 times for Milan this season. 4 more games and he's reached the clause which means he moves to AC Milan on a permanent deal.

Don't know what the fee will be but I ain't expecting much.

all i can say is the guy was a total and utter flop, a guy who was grossly over piad for at the time.. 20mil for a injury prone (see his record) INJURED player. and it was 20mil if you look at the roma webiste offical report of the deal.

the fact that comolli couldn't shift him to juve should tell the story, then roma didn't want him, fiorentina couldn't/wouldn't pay and then ac did a cheap loan.

i hope for the past two years we got his wages paid and perhaps a 1-2mil fee. I hope we get him shifted this summer

the fact is he played only a few games for ac, not a great amount hasn't done anyhting to suggest he was ever worth 20mil and here the blame is rafa and rafa only. what was he thinking!!!!

oh but guys don't worry we aint losing anything G&H and rbs are losing on it. not john henry who got the club for a song. selling this asset for whatever we get will be good.

  20. My understanding is he went to Juventus last year without them paying a fee or his wages.
