if you have too but do not let this guy leave. His corners alone mean we should fight hand and fist to keep him at Anfield. Aqua was a huge difference today in his 10 minute spell.
I read this article, and if it's true, would be a huge loss for LFC, not only on quality, but also on fee that LFC paid for him http://www.insidefutbol.com/2011/08/...ni-deal/46290/
Hope he stays, could make a huge difference. He also looks like he's hitting his peak so we would be mad to let him go
I think he is gonna leave..too many rumours and I think he wants to go.His performances have been very good but maybe he is just putting himself in the shop window. When he came on last night there seemed little interaction with him and Downing and if you watch downing's face he has a somewhat bemused smile. It will be a shame because he is quality but if he wants to go.....!
I think he will go which is a shame because he is easily our best midfielder. It's all well buying good British talent but sometimes they you need to compliment it with European/South american flair e.g. Aquilani and Suarez.
I think he will go, there just seems like too much talk about possible deals and we all know if a player isnt commited to the club then its best for all parties if they separate. A shame though, he will go in to a small collection of players that look very good (and it seems like fans want to see more of him) but for one reason or another it hasnt worked out at LFC.
he wants to go, he's actually TRYING preseason which is more than some can say. its quite simple. 1. him and his agent never shut their mouths about moving to italy. every day theres a quote. 2. juve could have had him, he played the full eyar there and guess what? no interest. 3. despite the rumours his VAST wages and to be frank less than stellar day in day out performances are putting of milan and fiorentina.... and roma of course are nowhere to be seen. so figure that lot out? he looks good coming on the pitch agasint less than good opposition but I can't make a link between that and how he'd play in the actual season. Don't get me wrong I like to wtch him play, he gives us something but at this point he's pretty much burned his bridges with me anyway, i'm sick of the direct quotes attributable to his agent and its obvious he wants to go. what i really don't know is why when the font of all footballing knowledge says Adam is worth 10mil for corners alone what downing is taking them!
He is a very skillful player and made an immediate impact when he came on last night. I've never wanted to see him go. It's a shame that Poulsen's opportunity for the 'shop window' put hime in the fire sale categoty!
I think after his performances Kenny knows he can't let him go. Aquilani has always maintained he wanted to prove he could make it at Liverpool; and I think he should be given time to do that. There's no point shipping him off for £8m less than we paid for him if it really looks like he can do a job here. If he does leave, I think it will be down to pressure from his agent and himself not wanting to play, than Kenny sending him away.
Even if he was as sulky as Tevez we shouldn't be struggling to shift a player who's shining the way he is. As I keep saying, it's not that he hates us. He'd prefer to be in Italy, probably for his bird because last summer he wanted to stay to prove his worth. After all the H&G/Hodgson palaver we can't be surprised he decided returning wasn't such a good thing. Maybe now he's had a chance to meet Kenny he's not so bothered about returning to Italy - it appears he'll only go if he gets the wage. If he is stepping up his effort to be in the shop window, fine, but if he stays I don't see him as a sulker and we'll get the effort. There's always the possibility he's demanding the equivalent wage so he's got an excuse for his bird not go back and he 's playing so well to try to convince us to keep him.
