What price will we get? should we take what ever or should we hang on to him until his contract ends.I think he has stronger morals than Maynard and would do his best whilst he is here, what do others think?
go, and we must get as much as we can for him you can easily build a squad with the rumoured £1.5-£2mil capable of a serious promotion push
I agree, I love Albert but he has earned his chance, let's get £2m, bomb him out, spend the money on a rebuild and thank you Mr Coppell....
Go go go remember he was not a regular under SOD 2 millon plus would help us return to he championship. Let the best deal or price happen,we only want players committed to the cause.
He can't be the long term future for our club because his ambition will get the better of him and we don't need dissention during our rebuild. I know he hasn't shaken up our world too much yet but when he sees the need to go that's exactly what he will do just like Nicky. Send him on his way with our blessing and an enriched City bank account. Goodbye Albert and good luck from us all.
Sadly he needs to move on. We need the money and he needs the chance. I hope he does go to Palace or Cardiff. Just so we can see him play in the prem and he is very likely to get in to their teams. If we get 1.5-2 million then great, A couple of freebies like Wynter and maybe Derrick Williams from villa plus the flint deal we could build a good team from Albert's sale.
He is ambitious and will only improve by being with better players and against better players. He has the ball skills but I sometimes wonder if he fits the old adage about Premier League players: their ability with a ball is not much different to a Fourth Division pro, but it's the top two inches that make the difference. In other words, I'm not sure he has a "Footballing Brain" But he will go soon enough and good luck to him and our thanks for his efforts while at Ashton Gate.
He should go he doesn't owe the club anything we paid little for him he's played a lot of games for us and has never been other that what is termed 'a model pro' he deserves his chance at the limelight, the club needs to rebuild, seems a real no brainer to me. Goodbye Albert and thanks for everything I hope you continue to play your football with a smile where ever you go.
I've loved watching Albie, though he can be frustrating - final ball not good enough Time for him to move on - will do him good and we can do with the cash (prob £1m - £1.5m unless a bidding war starts)
Sell on clause and an extra few thousand to cover the Flint deal/sell on/debt plus £1-1.5 Mill would be good business, I agree with some of the comments when playing well, lights up the side, but somewhat mercurial and final ball/shot is not good enough. If we look back at deals that might have gone through, Elliott, Fontaine, Maynard etc. then selling early could have brought us a sizeable windfall. We are in League one and definitely need to rebuild for the future.
Should he stay or should he go now, If he goes it could be trouble(not getting a good enough price) If he stays it could be double(probably less in Jan) We just really got to Know should he stay or should he go.
