http://www.shoot.co.uk/bristol-city-to-re-sign-fan-favourite/ A few places are running with this story now. He's been rock solid for Boro since he left us, and I reckon he'd fit into Cotterill's system like a glove.
This isn't a dig at all, I love the bloke, but why is he so well liked given how his time here ended? I know he was an exciting player, but when we got relegated he moaned quite publicly about wanting to leave and handed in a transfer request. I don't blame him, but why is it when other players have done the same they have been universally slated, yet AA gets a love in? Back on topic, I think he would be a good signing but not for any more than £2.5m to be honest. And he would definitely fit into our team; we could easily play a 4-3-3, or he could fit into our existing 3 man midfield as an attacking option relatively easily in my opinion.
Did for Murray and Carey and with Adomah's qualities I don't see why it wouldn't here! Scott and Louis came back to us because they failed elsewhere. Albert's thrived at Boro so we wouldn't be signing a player out of form or unhappy and to top it off he would actually be one of very few players who wants to come here because he loves the club. Would be a quality signing whether or not it will happen though is another thing.
I like Mark little myself, he seems to be a lucky omen, when he plays against bigger sides or on TV we seem to win! Albert won't be able to play as a wing back and I can't see how he would fit like a glove?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... Reckon this rumour has come about from our fans clapping him at the 'boro game and him reciprocating, rather than any genuine interest. Maybe I can see this happening, but I think it's more unlikely than likely. Yes, we've shown that we're willing to spend by our bids for Gayle and Gray, however I do still believe that the club is only willing to go to those lengths for players that we're really in need of and I think that Adomah might struggle to fit into SC's favoured system. Not that he wouldn't be capable, just that he'd maybe need to adapt and our needs are more prominent elsewhere, and we want to prioritise our budget to filling those positions.
I agree with you, he wasn't defensive enough to play out wide. So I can only see him competing against Freeman for that position. Would love him back, but don't see how he can fit into the system we have at the moment.
Sensational bid is supposed to be coming... http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/br...ugh-winger-albert-adomah/#tZ9d3A9l5GWdiReE.97
I'm not sure that he would fit with the "work ethic" demanded by SC. Just because he is a lovely guy and still regarded affectionately by some fans, does not necessarily make a return for Albert beneficial for the Club. We need a centre back and maybe a defensive midfielder before an Albert.
Albert ran his nuts of for us guys, ran his nuts off. He is coming home ,will be a fantastic signing. Most boro fans are fuming, they say he is the best winger in the division.
I think Albert is a great player but he won't move just to sit on our bench, he is first team not a squad player, where would we fit him in and who would we drop?
