A lot of people optimistic on here. I haven't seen it like this for about 5 years.
Amazing what a difference an exceptional pre season has, and maybe explains why we have under-achieved for the last 4.

The McDel Magic has begun to work perhaps

i did say i wouldnt sell albert, and believe i was one of the only ones to say it! and after a great pre season from him we could see his best season in a city shirt, Our team would look piss poor without him.... FACT

I also said I would rather we kept him.
I think 98% of us would rather see him in a City shirt, but after the Maynard fiasco I think we are understandably nervous about the subject of players that want away. Its not just us. Remember United with Christiano Ronaldo ?

Meh I stand by what I said previously tbh, he's a good player but if a team offers £3m plus then we can't exactly turn that down given our finances.

The performance against Southampton will be more of a test but thought the whole team looked pretty decent yesterday bar our slightly shakey defence.

If Albert keeps performing the natural progression would be for him to get headhunted by including clubs from the top flight................
Delboy can sell it to him if anyone can for him to stay a lil while longer if thats to become the case.............

The club are already making efforts to reel in some of that debt which can only limit any urgency to sell him and keep him at the club..........cant it???????????
