Give a man a fish... And he'll eat for a day. Teach him how to fish etc. I'll not always be here to spoonfeed you people. EDIT; nobody ask me to promise.
Other forums, in this international week are debating the new club same club issue. The main criteria for those arguing same club seems to centre on same fans, same stadium, same strip etc. Now lets for arguments sake say SEVCO start to behave in a non rangers like manner, taking down the Union Jack and banning it from their ground, banning the singing of THe Sash Derrys Walls etc, to the extent that the fans dessert the club and start up a new one, playing in Div three and renting Ibrokes and playing on days SEVCO are playing their Div 2 games. The fan base now follows a new club called The Rangers, but shorten it to Rangers, just like the old club. We now have two clubs.....SEVCO owned by the present shareholders, but with no fan base and The Rangers who now possess the fan base of the original rangers. Who is the correct rangers? SEVCO or the new entity? Which has the history, if any? If its SEVCO, who then fold......due to lack of support, then what has The Rangers got? The situation with SEVCO is like the pet goldfish......wee Johnny comes downstairs one morning and finds his pet goldfish swimming upside down. He calls on daddy to help. Daddy does not want to tell wee Johnny that goldie is dead, so he tells him to go upstairs and daddy will go to the pet shop and get magic dust, which brings goldie to life again. On returning from the pet shop daddy swaps the fish, dead for new. Johnny comes downstairs. Same goldfish bowl, same sideboard, same colour of fish, same size.........must be same fish.....goldie lives......... NOBODY, MOTHER, FATHER, OLDER BROTHER, FRIENDS OR RELATIVES, OR NEIGHBOURS DARE SAY THAT THIS IS NOT THE SAME FISH OR THAT GOLDIE IS DEAD. FINE.......... TILL YOUNGER SISTER DESCENDS THE STAIRS TO ANNOUNCE THAT ANOTHER GOLDFISH IS SWIMMING UPSIDE DOWN IN THE TOILET PAN AND ASKS THE PERTINENT QUESTION WHICH FISH IS THE REAL GOLDIE. SEVCO or RFCIL?
