Did anyone else hear Alan Sugar say last night that Alan Shearer came from humble beginings at Southampton FC? I sat down to watch what I thought was going to be an insightful analysis of the financial problems of English football and instead saw lots of pictures of a silly fat man in a Rolls Royce who had nothing to say that had not already been said by every other football fan in the country. Sugar's interview of the Agent was just an opportunity for him to express his own prejudices. This was really television at at poorest. Shallow content, poor presentation and full of bias.
Told us nothing new really, just that West Ham are f*cked when they go down and that it'll take one big club to go under before the Premier League finally wake up and do something.
So he wasn't talking very sweetly then. Perhaps he was being a bit soft centred or was he sucking up. Did he get a bit boiled or was it allsorts?
