    Him or Abeid, unless Tiote is back, and I can see Pardew going for Smith. Depressing, right?

    This result just proves our lack of strength in depth. Even when we're 3rd I said I'd take a top 10 finish because of our lack of cover and it's being proven how thin the squad is.

    ARGHHHHHH

  2. I don't care how good Guthrie is, we've missed Tiote. We need someone to bully the oppositions central mids.

    The spine of our side has gone from Ba-Tiote-Coloccini to Ameobi-Smith-Perch. It's hard to see us ever winning a game again.

    Tiote or Abeid has to be one of them.

    Surely Abeid or even Vuckic ahead of Smith. Pardew cannot be THAT mental to start Smith.

    We have awful strength in depth, but to be fair having your only 3 centre-backs as well as 3 of your 4 best CM's out a the same time is fairly unlucky.

    If Smith starts next week, expect to hear in the news about an irate male running around the streets of York city centre, shouting out weird and crazy things and threatening to do bad things! I will not be pleased

    I just can't understand what's going on in Pardews head when selecting players and substitutions. It's worrying to think about the long term effects of him not giving the better players a chance.

    I think Perch has shown he's pretty okay when covering the back four. I can imagine;

    -------------Krul----------
    Santon Simpson Colo Raylor
    -----------Perch----------
    Obertan---Cabaye----Jonas
    ---------Ba-----Shola-----

    When's Willo back?

    Wasn't Tiote in with a chance to be fit for next week?
