Alan Shearer: Still Bitter

I hate this clown with a passion. Taking nothing away from his talent as a striker. But the guy is lauded as some sort of model pro and example for young kids down South. When really he was a thug on the pitch and a bully in the dressing room.

His comments about Rooney carrying Man Utd smack of the fact he is still bitter almost a decade and a half after signing for Newcastle and throwing the league away. Christ, he was in a team he carried for long enough and they won nothing, whereas I think Man Utd are still going to win the EPL this season.

Surely a £23 million striker who has had more shots on goal than anyone else in the league, is the top scorer and plays up-front on his own 75% of the time is going to be the focus of the team. The amount of assists the Man Utd team have is testament to that. Ryan Giggs doesn't play every week and has 12, Berbatov who is supposed to be a flop has 7 goals and 7 assists too.

I wouldn't consider myself a Man Utd fan but I did like the mid-90's team with Cantona in it. I just hate that balding Geordie **** Shearer.

Yeah and him calling Man Utd a one-man team smacks of hypocrisy seeing as when he was at Newcastle they lumped the ball to him for five seasons

 

precisely, as usual people just love commenting on man utd though. Shearer is no different, just wish he would say something thats true

 

I'm not even a Man Utd fan, I just hate Shearer with a passion. But I've always admired Fergie and what he's achieved in the game.

Couldn't beat that mid 90's team either. I remember watching the 4-0 destruction of Porto when Cantona scored twice and Giggs scored twice. Brilliant

I don't really pay much attention to what he says. He is just too boring to hold my attention. Everything from his body language to monotonal way of speaking just puts me to sleep.
