This is mad, we get rid of him and he goes to a club in the league above us, what a joke and I bet he becomes there number 1,
Good luck to the lad and hope he gets better.

I think the thing about Julian is he was a great shot stopper, but his all round game let him down. Coming off the line, collecting crosses etc he struggled at. Personally thought it was a little unfair on him being released but there are certainly better keepers available for free right now so understand Hess' decision.

Yeah I think stevenage took him back cause of letting go of their goalkeeper.

The last minute howler at home to Torquay says it all really - A mistake that eventually cost a play off place.

I believe he's going there to be their number 2.

Can't really say that the team is far better off without them when neither has been sufficiently replaced...

    Julian was an OK keeper.

As already mentioned a good shot stopper, but seemed a bit lumbering when clearing back passes etc.

An ideal backup keeper for a league 1 or league 2 side, but nothing more than that.

It will just make Stevenage one of the favourites to go down <laugh>

I agree with Tom Tom. Julian looks good if you have nothing to replace him with. I thought that he was just a lumbering blocker of the ball and can only see him as a no.2 at Stevenage. Still, I wish him well on his travels. UTG
