Always sad when someone who was special to you (in footballing terms that is) passes away Pete.

In this case, remember the name but sadly not the player. A bit before my time, but my grandad (who came to live with us toward the end of his life) and my dad were always mentioning his name, along with the likes of Stitfall, Baker, Molloy and others.

RIP bluebird.

Alan Harrington and Colin Baker both of Wales and Cardiff City lived in Lincoln Street Canton for a time, when Masky was but a small tit! They were legends and stayed in a house with a lady who had an arrangement with Bill Jones etc. Later I can remember Jimmy McInch being there too! Alan was a stylish full back, always had a look on his face as if he had stepped in pooh! Sad to see the passing of Alan who I recall was always pleasant to a young Masky...he had no knowledge of the heights Masky would achieve! God bless! :emoticon-0103-cool:

Played the whole of his professional career for the Bluebirds 1951 - 1966. 348 appearances.

Not many can say that these days.
