Was listening to Talk Sport the other morning and heard Alan Brazil state that the safest bet you could have this season was for Charlton to win league 1..Top bloke knows what he`s talking about :emoticon-0100-smile

I have alot of time for MR Brazil he did the commentary on our play off victory v sunderland and he cant stand simon jordan and I remember seeing him play for Ipswich v charlton in the FA Cup 3rd round at portman rd the last time we were in this division when we took thousands of fans to the game.
So thats why I have a soft spot for him.Part of an excellent ipswich town side that handed villa the title that same year I think, happy days.

He lives in Dedham, Constable Country, on the Essex/Suffolk fringes. I know because my brother lives in Flatford and often sees him out and about with Frank Lampard Snr. George Burley lives in the same village, too.

He does also have a pad near London Bridge - you are right, JA.

If you read his book, you will know how he feels about Simon Jordan and is good friends with Richard murry
