He doesn't seem very 'Christian', or frankly very grateful considering what the lass did for him. He'd have been better off saying nothing. "I'll put a tenner in" Saying that, she should have left it alone after the initial money raising for Alan Barnes. As far as I understand she has set up a longer term fundraising project off the back of the Alan Barnes success and used this PR company to get herself on the telly to promote it. She must have been very naive to think she wouldn't have to pay them. Heart in the right place but out of her depth I think.

I concur I mean I know people that got bricked and they got nothing but on with it. I'm tired of society singling out some people and giving them handouts in all honesty! The nice girl that made this bloke rich has come out in his defence, but i don't agree with her.
Absolutely this. A good situation that has quickly turned sour and no one is covered in glory quite frankly............... especially Mr Barnes. Right from the start I said to the wife that he seemed a little ungrateful, but put it down to him being a little overwhelmed by it all. Looks like my gut reaction was a little closer to the mark. Shame on you little fella.
Ungrateful little sod. Already planning a move to another house so the least he could have done was give a substantial sum towards cost.
