I think they're the best sports network in the world. They just bought the rights to the EPL, and unlike Sky and BT, they will televise every single EPL game, every single minute. On top of that, they have the FA cup, CC cup, Champions league etc. Oh and they also show all of the Spanish and Italian league. They've gone all out on pundits too for the EPL, watching the coverage now, they have Andy Gray and Alan back, Ian Wright is on too right now. These guys seriously put Sky to shame.
How are they comparable to Sky exactly? Apples and Baklavas. Rights to broadcasting in the home country are always more complex.
This was all very encouraging until two words came up... Andy Gray. One of the most annoying and ignorant men in football, Gary Neville's success at Sky is testament to this.
Well, they broadcast every UCL game, every Spanish league game, every Italian league game, every French league game, not even Sky does that with outside leagues. Just think how great that is, having a sports channel that broadcasts both the Spanish and English league games, with I might add, top quality english-european pundits. Even Wenger loves them, he always seems to give his best interviews with them in terms of talking about transfers, he always gives just that more detail, they're going to be airing one tomorrow, hopefully it'll be another good one.
Sure, it'd be illegal though. (not judging ) But if you wanted to go that route you probably already had other options.
Lol, I've seen shops and cafes having their channel on like it's nothing. Now sure if you can do that, you have other options, but the other options-channels to get aren't as good in terms of coverage, commentary, the whole 9 yards.
It's the FA not Sky's fault. Fa only bring to tender the matches that BT and Sky are showing. Apparently it's so people don't stop going to the 3 o clock fixtures :/. It's a bit bloody ******ed that we are the only country in the world that can't see our own ****ing games. Even the US has the rights to EVERY pl game.
Sky used to tell people it was illegal to receive foreign channels when in fact it's not. If you have a dish that belongs to you (not sky) then you can point it where you like. Always liked Al-Jazeera as a news source.
They were doing the United vs Wigan match yesterday. Andy Gray is quite refreshing to listen to when Sky aren't forcing him to brown nose Man United.
Don't care much about the pundits, watching uninterrupted free football in English beats the hell out of dodgy Chinese streams.
They even started talking about Arsenal and financial fair rules, Andy Gray started defending Arsenal, he brought up legit points, the rule is supposedly set to come in, we have prepared for it, yet you have teams like Madrid who at the moment look like they couldn't give a flying **** about the rule, and as Andy also pointed out, if it was an English club looking to spend 100 million on a player, that snob Platini would be speaking out.
Agreed. Whenever I finish watching one of them Chinese streams, I have the urge to watch another one straight away
