Akos Buzsaky feels that a weekend off in the Barclays Premier League has provided Rangers with an ideal opportunity to eradicate recent mistakes. QPR's non-involvement in the fifth round of the FA Cup has led to a gap in fixtures, allowing Mark Hughes's men to travel out to the Algarve in Portugal. Article continues Advertisement After defeats against Wolves and Blackburn, the Hungarian international admits he would liked to have played on Saturday to put things right, but acknowledges the benefit the trip could have. "We didn't play well against Blackburn and would have liked to have played another game to put things right," Buzsaky told www.qpr.co.uk*following another tough session today. "But now the squad is together and we can train together. We can get our shape and fitness better. "We've got two massive home games to come*against Fulham and Everton*and everybody's going to be needed. "I'm sure the players realise that we need to take as many points as possible." Buzsaky added: "The warmer weather is nice - but we're here to train. "It's much better than training in minus temperatures in England - or anywhere else! "I am enjoying it. Training is very organised - that's something that the Manager is really known for. "We've had very organised and good sessions. "We need to do our best in training, get fitter and fitter and put in good performances, starting next weeekend."
Buzz is a legend. I just wish he would apply himself as he has as much raw talent as any player I've ever seen. That's why he drives me CRAZY!! C'mon Buzz, do your talking on the pitch son.
It never fails to amaze me when players talk so positively about forthcoming matches or career aspirations, but then completely underwhelm in the very next match. Even to drift in and out of games for spells is understandable to a degree. But to not perform for an entire match is beyond comprehension.
Exactly '999. Even more so when the player in question has it within themselves to make that impression on the field yet doesn't seem to give a sh*t. Beyond comprehension indeed, my friend.
Agree with the above. The Buzz at the Blackburn game was a pale imitation of the player that excelled against Wigan. Still, think he's right about the break coming at the right time. I'm expecting a strong performance against Fulham. Anything less, and we can look forward to playing Neil Warnock's Leeds team in the Championship next season (no, I don't think Neil will take Leeds up this season!)
