Fair play to you re the avatar thingy - only just noticed it. Question is do you REALLY want promotion, so that the 'banter' can carry on / start again next season?
Depends I think. If Pearson gets sacked there'll be a lot less interest from our end because it's largely due to the way he left (not the fact he left) that people have an issue with you. A bit like when we had Peter Taylor we seemed to get more Leicester fans commenting on forums because of that history. He goes we've only really got this last season or so as anything going on between us. Plus we're likely to have an extra 25% on our home gates, if that translates to forums then there's going to be a lot of ours who don't even know of the rivalry or who NP is.
Not sure what the banter is like on other forum sites but the fact that both us and yourselves have a decent amount of posters on here compared to other clubs will mean that things will likely continue. Probably not as heated as it got at some points (to be fair it hasn't been for a while anyway) but I'm sure it will carry on in some form. Especially if you ended up getting O'Neill or something along those lines!
