Gaz is out with a broken thumb for four weeks, surgery tomorrow. This raises all sorts of questions. Will Betsy get a run out now? Will Gaz ever play again? Rumours had it this would be his last season as a player. Maybe it will work the other way and whilst he's recuperating he'll get some rest and come back fitter and stronger than he has been all season. Will we need to get another winger in? Surely we can't rely on Grant/Harris/Betsy for the rest of the season?

I doubt we will bother with a loan. We only have a limited number a year, and there are only two league fixtures in the time that he is supposedly going to be out for. Any decent loan signing would presumably be made unavailable for the Cup games, and so it hardly seems worthwhile getting someone in.
matty returning just won't happen As regards Ainsworth, his injury may be a blessing in disguise, he was trying too hard and nothing was working, a bit of time off might help his game and the team in general
