Aidan White looks unlikely to play again this season after injuring his leg in Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Watford.

The Republic of Ireland international avoided serious damage in a first-half tackle by Watford’s Carl Dickinson, and X-rays allayed fears of a broken bone, but boss Neil Warnock does not expect to have him available for selection during any of Leeds’ remaining six Championship matches.

Warnock said: “It’s not too serious and there’s no break in it, that’s the good thing. But I’d be very surprised if he plays again this season. It’s a shame because he’s done well.”

Webber or Rogers for Reading then?

 

I thought about this at the time he got clattered but dismissed it as a bit macabre: the more interesting aspect of this is whether anyone will want to gamble on him in the Summer, or whether he will take a contract from us as a safety net.


I'd say it will probably be Webber as Rogers has not really had a look-in the last few weeks

 

Bates probably told warnock to say he was injured to put clubs of offering him a contract

 

I'd like Rogers to start, see what he's all about.
