how come grayson sent him out on loan to gain experience playing on the wing, now hes back as 1st choice left back?
Do you really think the parent clubs manager has any say on where a player plays? Come on... Do you think when we loaned Gradel at first Pearson told us "You are not allowed to play him any where else but the wing".
im 100% sure if SG wanted white to play on loan on the wing he would only agree a loan where this would be the case.
no he wouldn't. I dont know about you but there is no player that is in the prem that would be likely to go out on loan that would walk into our team let alone pick his position as well. Once he is out on loan for a season, he is there player for a season.
put it this way. if SG had said to dickov 'where do u intend to play white if i was to loan him to you' and dickov said LB and SG wanted him on the wing then there would be no deal
Maybe the wing is Aiden White better position, as Oldham and the Ireland U21 used him. Until recently Gradel had this position so there was no role for him there. Also as we are lacking in left back perhaps thats why SG is playing him there? Just a thought...
but he could have stuck by taylor who made a good impression on debut if he really wanted white on the wing
Well white hasnt done badly at left back and we are in need of a left back so why change it. Although i think coulda done worse than sticking with taylor
agreed white has done a good job at LB. just a bit confused about the sudden u-turn. i think white on the left with taylor at LB, or sam on the left with white behind is the way forward, nunez looks lost atm
Nunez seemed a better impact sub? As for Taylor at LB he need games to get confidence and I think its best done on loan, otherwise we will just rip him is he makes any mistakes. My guess a LB in on loan and Taylor out to League One or Two for the season.
nunez seems to only be effective in a more central CAM/second striker role, and struggles massively on the left
