Hi guys, hope u enjoyed what i wrote about Gedo History, now we will talk about Fathy, and before i tell u how he started his way to be one of the egyptian superstar, i want to tell u that before 2010 the year where Gedo be famous fathy was so famous in that time , fathy was a star from the age of 19, he was one of the most talented youth player in Egypt, fathy started his career playing in Ismaily club, it is one of the famous club in Egypt but of couse not as famous as the two capital clubs.
Fathy was playing in the youth team and when his coach saw how good he is , he transfered him to the first team.
he was the youngest player in the first team however this didn't prevent him from shining and after some months he was playing regularly, by the way he was playing in the mid field not on the right as today.
being a star at this young age he became a target for both the two giants of the capital and Al Ahly win him after that.
As years passed fathy became one of the biggest player in Egypt and Al Ahly of Course and he was having an invitation from Arsenal to train with them for some days but he return to Egypt and the things with Arsenal didn't go well. but fathy was still dreaming to play in Europe so he join sheffield united for some months when it was playing in the premier league and when sheffield went to the championship fathy left to kuwait in the Gulf and finally returned back to Egypt to play again with Al Ahly.
hope i gave u a spot on his life, and believe me fathy is really a great player in Egypt, and i saw him playing in 3 positions and he was good at all of them the mid fielder , the right wing and the defender but for me i like him more in the mid field.
thanks alot guys for ur time.

Thanks for the history, Ahmed - on both Gedo and Fathy. I guess we all hope they enjoy their time with the Tigers. Keep watching them (and why not get a City shirt?)

I don't get why Hull City got Fathi on loan when they already have Elmo who plays in the same position. not saying that Fathi is a bad player. he actually played in the premier league before and he was close to play for Arsenal 9 years ago (he even played a friendly game with them) 29e258ad98.jpg

well maybe he will be used in a different position other than the RB or RW

My guess is Bruce sees Fathy in MF playing inside of Elmo in the Evans spot. He's stronger in the tackle than Evans, can deliver a killer pass, and is a 90 minute box to box player with good speed. He should be in the starting line up as he's a top quality player but probably won't play much on Saturday as he had 90 minutes in the reserves the other night.

Thanks for all the info' Ahmed Speed. I hope that sometime in the future we will play Al Ahly in Cairo, when things have settled down in your country. I would love to come to see the match.
