Would like to see them both back here.
Gedo, to see how he is when fit, and Fathi if we don't get Elmo.

I don't think we'll sign either of them.

Carnt see us signing Fathi as bruce obviously didnt rate him while he was here and id take Odemwingie, Rhodes, Austin or Altidore over Gedo all day long.

Fathi and Elmo play for Egypt down the right together so it wouldn't be a problem if we went to a back four

At the right rpice i would have them both back. We will need a squad of 30 from 1st sept when the transfer window is closed. Remember folks, PL dont allow loans. We need cover all over. Fathi like Rosie and McShane can play in a number of roles. Gedo is a hitman. Just a shame about that old foot injury when it mattered most last season.

What do you mean the PL doesn't allow loans? We had Kamil Zayatte on loan as an international loan, Wigan had Zaki. This year WBA had Lukaku on loan from Chelsea, so I'm not quite sure what you've based that assumption on.

If you mean, there isn't a loan window, then you're right. However, you can still sign free agents that didn't have a club during the window. Think that's how we got JVoH.

From the 1st sept to midnight 31st december AND 1st february to the seasons end ALL PL clubs cannot sign any player on loan,, unlike FL clubs can. However, any player that is out of contract(ie. a free agent) when the windows shut can be signed anytime. Like what we did with JVOH back in 2009.
But yes No Loans as we know them. GK are an exception under certain circumstances though.

Is that the best you can do ? Even a dimwit like yoruself should know the PL system re loans by now. <doh>

Correct. I should have mentioned the word ""window"" but sadly it got vandalised and has been boarded up. :emoticon-0116-evilg ;)

What you actually meant, was the Premier League do allow loans, but there's no emergency loan window.

Which is not what you said at all. <doh>
