    Sounds like they will be coming here and they just might be sold to us in the end. If you need the money and need to loan them out then cash for a sale is just as realistic regardless of what the manager says.

    Well if they need them off the wage bill (and I can't imagine they are on ****loads at Al Ahly) then we'll snap their hands off!

    Also, Gedo reminds me of that puppet out of the Simpsons. Oh wait, that was Gabbo.

    My god ive just had a look at a player profile of 'Gedo' the Eygptian striker we want on loan, it said 'pros' good header of the ball and work rate. 'Cons' ball contol, vision and dribbling. He sounds brilliant, it might be Aaron Mclean in disguise!!!!!!

    They were in the team. Gedo was the top goal scorer in the tournament.

    fathi, gedo and dj campbell would certainly give us more depth and enable Bruce to have more options. Whether they are succesful we shall see but 3 incoming players at this stage of the season is just what we need... (4 including stockdale who i really rate)
    i'd much rather that than us splashing everything on one single player and hope he is the messiah.

    Plus I'm sure the Allams have thrashed out a deal with their connections with Al Ahly, most likely meaning it won't cost them a fortune

    Wouldn't mind Emad Meteeb either, he's awesome.

    I thought it'd be Gedo, with Aluko now out, we are lacking in the striker department, plus Gedo won't take up a loan space if we need to bring in anybody else.
